How to choose the perfect swimsuit bra?

It's the art of properly fitting a bra to your figure. More and more women today are realizing that a well-fitting bra isn't just about aesthetics, but above all, comfort, health, and freedom of movement—even in swimwear.

Properly fitted top of the suit:

supports the bust better,
improves body proportions,
gives a sense of security and self-confidence.

You can seek the help of a professional bra fitter or take your measurements yourself. Below you'll find simple, step-by-step instructions.

Step 1

Choosing a bra for measurements

For bra fitting purposes, wear a soft bra:

no push-ups,
without thick fillings,
may be slightly stiffened.

Adjust the straps so that the highest point of your breast (when viewed from the side) is approximately in the center of the cup. If possible, ask a loved one for help—precision is key.

Step 2

Measuring the circumference under the bust

Place the measuring tape directly under your breasts.

Please note that:

the measuring cup was positioned perfectly horizontally,
was at the same height at the front and back,
the arms were hanging freely,
breathe naturally, without holding your breath.

Lightly tighten the measuring tape and read the result, rounding it to the nearest whole number:

69 cm → size 70
92 cm → size 90

Step 3

Determining your cup size

Measure the circumference of your bust at its widest point, at the level of your nipples.

The measuring cup should:

run horizontally,
fit snugly to the body, but not constricting.

Round the result to the nearest whole number and check it in the table corresponding to your underbust circumference.

Examples:

• circumference under the bust 70, circumference at the bust 87 cm → size 70C
• circumference under the bust 90, bust circumference 110 cm → size 90E

Selection of style and fit

A well-fitting swimsuit bra should:

• fit tightly under the bust, the belt must lie parallel to the floor,
• not raise on your back or dig into your skin,
• support the bust stably without feeling any pressure.

Straps:

• should not slip,
• cannot be shortened too much,
• their width should be adjusted to the size of the bust (A–C: 8–10 mm, D and larger: 14–20 mm).

Pay attention to the underwires:

• cannot press or dig into the chest,
• should gently hug the bust and end centrally under the armpit.

Cups::

• should not cause the breasts to "overflow" at the top,
• must not stick out or wrinkle,
• for fuller busts, soft styles or cups made of soft foam (spacer type) work best.

Finally, remember—your swimsuit bra should suit your needs: one for a relaxing beach vacation, the other for water activities. A well-chosen model will make you feel at ease, confident, and comfortable.
